IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) - Datacenter Platforms immediately for a customer

• You ensure the smooth operation of the Windows and Linux system landscape
• You maintain and optimize virtualized environments based on VMware
• In the area of server hardware, you take on tasks related to firmware, patching, and hardening
• You perform the installation and provisioning of new systems and components according to defined standards
• In the event of technical malfunctions, you take over the analysis and ensure sustainable rectification
• Ongoing operations in the datacenter as well as the maintenance of iLO and management networks are also part of your field of activity
• Depending on your technical focus, you also provide support for Active Directory, VMware/ESXi, automation, as well as the further development of operational and security standards

• You have completed IT training or a comparable technical qualification
• You have practical experience in operating Windows and Linux servers as well as a good basic technical understanding
• You are proficient in handling VMware and server hardware
• Sound knowledge in patching, firmware, and hardening distinguishes you
• Experience in provisioning, error analysis, and technical operation is required
• A structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working characterizes you
• Team spirit and enjoyment of a technologically demanding environment round off your profile
• Good English skills as well as several years of professional experience are required
