We are seeking a skilled and licensed individual to join our team as a *Subcontractor Electrician*. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This position requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

*Compensation: *$50,000 - $100,000 annually based on piecework

*Collaboration:*

• *Work closely with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of all construction elements into the overall project.*
• *Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.*

*Responsibilities*

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and appliances, in accordance with local building codes.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams to determine electrical layouts and specifications.
• Testing electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and adherence to regulations.
• Identifying and troubleshooting electrical problems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Collaborating with other construction professionals, such as contractors and inspectors, to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and according to schedule.
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Receive direction from the project manager as directed

*Qualifications*

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Must have the required license for electrical work in the area of operation.
• Must have own vehicle, tools, and equipment for electrical work.
• Must carry their own Liability Insurance and Workers Comp (WSIB).
• Must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• Must be clean, tidy, and responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Must have a smartphone and basic computer skills for receiving dispatch orders.
• Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship is preferred.
• Valid driver?s license required.
