BI Engineer

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and model data from multiple sources
• Build and optimize SQL queries for large-scale data analysis and reporting

• Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting solutions for stakeholders
• Partner with engineering and business teams to translate requirements into data-driven insights

• Automate reporting workflows using Python scripting
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverables

• Document data models, pipelines, and business logic for team knowledge sharing
• Support ad-hoc analysis and deep-dive investigations as needed

• SQL — Advanced proficiency (complex queries, window functions, query optimization)
• Python — Intermediate to advanced (data manipulation, scripting, automation)

• ETL Logic — Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading patterns
• Data Modeling — Dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas

• Communication — Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications/certifications: Either Engineering in CS or related fields OR masters in Analytics or Data Science

Software / programs / tools
