Senior Plumber / Plumbing & Heating Engineer (Local Patch)

About the company

This is a permanent position with a well-established local plumbing and heating business, where you'll be given the tools and support to do the job properly, realistic scheduling expectations, and on-the-job development into areas like air source heat pumps.

Your tasks

In this role you'll cover a varied mix of domestic plumbing repairs, replacements and installations, central heating work, bathroom installs and heat pump installations, travelling direct to site from home. You'll work 8am-5pm with optional overtime available, and you'll be in the office 1-2 times per week for support and planning.

• Domestic plumbing repairs, replacements and installations
• Central heating installation, servicing and fault finding
• Bathroom installation work (partial or full)
• Local patch around Cambridge (travel to site from home)
• Heat pump training and progression available

Requirements

Are you a Plumber, Plumbing & Heating Engineer or Gas Engineer looking for a stable, long-term role on a local patch where you'll be properly supported and trained into heat pumps, with the chance to step up into a more senior position over time?

This role would suit an experienced Plumber / Heating Engineer who wants a local, long-term position with training and the potential to progress into a more senior role as the company continues to grow.

The Person

• Plumbing, Heating or Gas qualification (NVQ or C&G Level 2 minimum, ideally Level 3)
• Plumber / Heating Engineer able to work autonomously
• Full UK driving licence

What we offer

£45,000 - £50,000 + Optional Overtime + Company Van + Heat Pump Training + Long-Term Progression + Local Patch
