About the company

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established renewable heating company offering full biomass training, excellent benefits and the opportunity to progress into a Lead Engineer or supervisory position.

The company has over 15 years of experience specialising in biomass heating systems, with close to 1,000 boilers supplied nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their engineering team.

Your tasks

In this role, you will install, maintain and assist with commissioning commercial biomass heating systems across the UK. You will receive specialist training, work alongside experienced engineers and travel nationwide, with accommodation and expenses covered.

• Installation, pipe fitting, servicing and maintenance of commercial biomass heating systems.
• Working on projects nationwide alongside experienced engineers.
• Full specialist training on biomass boilers and renewable heating technology.
• Monday to Friday, 40-hour working week, with regular overnight stays.
• Company van, fuel card, accommodation and overnight expenses provided.
• Paid overtime, pension, health and well-being package and enhanced holiday entitlement.
• Long-term progression into Lead Engineer or supervisory positions.

Requirements

Are you a Pipe Fitter from a commercial or domestic background looking to develop your skills within renewable energy through specialist training and long-term progression?

This role would suit an experienced Pipe Fitter looking to develop specialist renewable heating skills, who is happy to travel and wants long-term career progression.

The Person

• Previous pipe fitting experience (commercial preferred, domestic considered).
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Welding or biomass experience advantageous but not essential.
• Happy to travel nationwide and stay away during the working week.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Looking for a permanent role offering training and progression.
