Equine Lecturer

/ Trainer £30 - £40 per hour On Site Northampton - commutable from Coventry, Bedford, Peterborough, Banbury and surrounding areas. 3 Months Rolling Contract or Temp to Perm - your preference

Are you an experienced Equine Lecturer looking for your next immediately available contract role, working at a renowned FE College on a rolling contract? Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Equine professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of equine professionals? You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out practical assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential. This role would suit someone with previous Training / Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college, or an experienced Equine professional looking to move into education.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training within the equine sector
• Assess and support learners working towards relevant equine qualifications and apprenticeship standards
• Provide practical instruction across areas such as horse care, stable management and equine management
• Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners
• £30 - £40 per hour - 3 Month Rolling Contract

The Person:

• Current or previous professional experience working within the equine industry
• Practical experience in areas such as horse care, stable management, riding or equine management
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices/learners is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
