Market Harborough £55,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Progression

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take the next step into commercial management, joining a growing specialist contractor with ambitious expansion plans. Working closely with the Directors, you will take ownership of the commercial function and play a key role in the company's continued growth.

This specialist contractor delivers commercial fit-out, refurbishment and fire protection projects across the Midlands and Home Counties. As Commercial Manager, you will work directly with the Directors, managing valuations, pricing, procurement and final accounts from initial survey through to completion. You will oversee commercial performance, build client relationships and manage subcontractor payments, with the opportunity to take increasing ownership as the business expands.

This role would suit an established Quantity Surveyor ready to step into management or an existing Commercial Manager looking for greater responsibility. You will need strong commercial awareness, the ability to manage projects independently and a practical, team-focused approach. Experience is important, but the right attitude, honesty and accountability are equally valued.

The Role:

• Managing valuations, pricing, variations and final accounts across live projects
• Overseeing procurement, subcontractor payments and commercial performance
• Building relationships with clients, Directors and the wider supply chain
• Supporting business growth, with progression into senior commercial management

The Person:

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to progress into management, or an existing Commercial Manager
• Strong commercial experience across construction, fit-out or interiors
• Confident managing projects, valuations and client relationships independently
• Honest, accountable and team-focused, with a full UK driving licence
