Assistant Building Surveyor

About the company

This is a permanent opportunity to join a reputable, growing business, where you'll be mentored by Chartered Building Surveyors, supported through your APC, and given a clear route to step up into a Building Surveyor position and on to Senior level through regular reviews and measurable targets.

The company deliver a wide range of projects across industrial, education and public sector environments, alongside condition surveys, PPM surveys, dilapidations and refurbishment works (including roof and cladding). As a result of continued growth and an expanding client base, they are now looking to add to their surveying team.

Your tasks

In this role you will be based from the Wakefield office with travel to sites responsible for carrying out surveys, producing reports, attending meetings and supporting contract administration on live projects.

• Site visits, surveys, progress visits and reporting across a range of commercial projects
• Condition surveys, schedules of condition, PPM surveys and dilapidations work
• Support with contract administration and project delivery (e.g. minor works / JCT exposure)
• Office based in Wakefield with site travel and some hybrid working

Requirements

Are you a Building Surveyor looking for full APC support, structured progression and exposure to a genuine mix of commercial work with a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy?

This role would suit an Assistant Building Surveyor with a Building Surveying degree and a couple of years' experience, looking to gain APC support, broaden project exposure and progress within a business that promotes from within.

The Person

• Building Surveying degree with practical experience
• Experience with dilapidations, schedules of condition and surveying/report writing
• Full UK driving licence and happy with UK-wide site visits / occasional staying away

£35,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance + APC Support + Mentorship + Clear Progression West Yorkshire Commutable from:
