Resident Engineer
About the company
RIGHT TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified ResidentEngineer to provide on-site technical support for automation and robotic systems at a customer facility in Singapore.
Your tasks
The successful candidate will work closely with the customer and the equipment manufacturer's technical team to ensure smooth system operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and support system reliability.
- Provide on-site technical support for automated robotic systems and material handling equipment.
- Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
- Perform first-level technical troubleshooting and coordinate with the manufacturer's engineering team for complex issues.
- Support system testing, commissioning, and operational recovery when required.
- Assist with PLC, electrical, mechanical, sensor, and control system troubleshooting, where applicable.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with customers and overseas technical teams to resolve system issues.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and site operational requirements.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience in automation, robotics, AGV/AMR systems, ASRS, or material handling equipment will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, sensors, motors, and industrial control systems.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and technical teams.
- Able to work independently at the customer site and coordinate with the manufacturer's support team.
