Your tasks

As a Field Service Engineer (Senior/Maintenance), you will deliver expert technical support by installing, commissioning, and maintaining semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime for customers.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer equipment issues to minimize operational downtime
• Install, set up, and commission semiconductor equipment according to specifications
• Perform equipment performance checks to verify compliance with required standards
• Conduct equipment testing, calibration, and upgrades to maintain optimal functionality
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software faults to resolve issues efficiently
• Escalate complex technical problems to engineering teams and track resolution progress
• Collaborate with customers to resolve technical challenges and provide effective solutions
• Prepare service and troubleshooting reports
• Support equipment qualification and acceptance processes to ensure compliance
• Coordinate with internal engineering and technical teams to facilitate issue resolution and service delivery
• Travel overseas as required to support customer needs and equipment servicing

How to apply

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma /Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience working with semiconductor equipment, automation, or industrial machinery
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and customer-service skills
