Right Now Group are recruiting for an experienced Office Manager on behalf of our client, an established international logistics and transport business based in Colnbrook.

This is a varied and responsible position, ideal for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy operation and taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation of an office.

The role will combine Office Management, Compliance & Accreditation Administration, Fleet Support, HR Administration and PA support to the Directors. You will act as a key point of contact across the business, ensuring records, documentation, training requirements and general office administration are kept organised and up to date.

Key responsibilities of an Office Manager:

  • Take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running and administration of the office.
  • Manage reception duties, including welcoming visitors, answering calls and dealing with general enquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to the Directors
  • Maintain the company's master spreadsheets and central records, ensuring information is accurate and kept up to date.
  • Maintain employee records, including training records, qualifications, documentation and relevant expiry dates.
  • Coordinate and monitor driver documentation and checks, ensuring required records remain current and compliant.
  • Support the management and renewal of company accreditation's, certifications and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with preparing information and documentation for audits and accreditation reviews.
  • Provide administrative support relating to the company's vehicle fleet, maintaining relevant records and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers where required.
  • Support the business with Health & Safety administration, including maintaining records, documentation and associated compliance requirements.
  • Monitor important renewal dates, training requirements, certificates and documentation, proactively following up before expiry.
  • Coordinate general office requirements, supplies, facilities and contractors.

The Successful Office Manager will have:

  • Previous experience within an Office Manager, Senior Administrator, Executive Assistant, PA or similar varied administrative role.
  • Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when maintaining employee, compliance and accreditation records.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and managing detailed spreadsheets and trackers.
  • Comfortable working with Directors and handling sensitive or confidential information, communicating with employees, drivers, suppliers and external organisations at all levels.
