1 Automation Technician / PLC Programmer Location: Greater Gleisdorf area
Your area of responsibility
- PLC programming (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal)
- Execution of software tests
- Trial PLC-side commissioning of plants and machines at the company in Styria
- PLC-side commissioning of plants and machines on-site at international customers (approximately 30% business travel)
- Service and optimization assignments at international customers on-site
- Execution of final acceptances together with international customers
- Training / instruction of employees/operators at customer sites
- Collaboration in the development of new products and technologies
- Constant further development of products, support in continuous improvement processes
Our requirements
- Successfully completed technical training (LAP / Fachschule / HTL)
- Specializations: Automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering or comparable
- Professional experience in the field of automation technology is an advantage but not mandatory
- PLC knowledge (e.g., Siemens Simatic S7 / TIA Portal, B&R, Allen Bradley) is desired
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30% annually, slightly more in exceptional cases)
- Independent, responsible, and precise way of working
- Hands-on mentality (willingness to step in where it is currently needed)
- Ability to improvise
- Willingness to learn
- High quality awareness
- Good English skills and the courage to speak it (perfect English skills are expressly not expected, but you must be able to communicate and have the courage to communicate in English, as well as be willing to develop linguistically)
- Further foreign language skills are advantageous

The minimum salary for this position is € 3,300.- gross/month based on full-time employment. However, we expressly point out that the willingness to pay more is certainly given, depending on relevant professional experience and/or qualification, and the actual gross monthly salary can therefore be significantly higher. Furthermore, salaries are increased by statutory as well as voluntary bonuses, overtime compensation, and the like. Typically, total compensation for comparable positions ranges between € 3,300.- and € 5,500.- per month, which will also serve as a guide during negotiations for this position.
