About the company

Richard Diffusion, a specialist in professional furniture for cafés, hotels, and restaurants, is continuing its development and is recruiting an International Transport & Import Coordinator to strengthen its purchasing department.

Your tasks

International transport

• Organize maritime, road, and multimodal transport from our international suppliers.
• Manage Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments.
• Consult and negotiate with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Track shipments, anticipate delays, and organize deliveries to our warehouse.

Import and customs

• Coordinate customs clearance operations.
• Control import documents (invoices, packing lists, B/L, certificates of origin).
• Verify Incoterms and transport conditions.
• Ensure the compliance of import files.

Cost optimization

• Compare and negotiate freight rates.
• Optimize container filling and order consolidation.
• Control transport invoices and ancillary costs.
• Identify possible savings on logistics flows.

Purchasing and logistics coordination

• Monitor goods availability with suppliers.
• Plan shipments with the purchasing and warehouse teams.
• Communicate estimated arrival dates.
• Update tracking tables and our ERP.

Requirements

• Education: Bac +2 to Bac +5 in transport, logistics, or international trade.
• Experience in international transport, import, or maritime transit.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs formalities, and containerized transport.
• Professional English is essential.
• Good mastery of Excel and IT tools.
• Rigor, autonomy, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Experience at a freight forwarder or an importer is appreciated.
