Technical Program Manager IT & Network Systems (m/f/d)

Do you want to not only coordinate complex technical programs but also significantly steer their successful implementation? As a Technical Program Manager (m/f/d), you will take on the content leadership of demanding IT and network programs and be responsible for their successful delivery in terms of schedule, scope, and quality.

The following activities await you:

• Leadership and coordination of sub-project management and development teams across multiple locations
• Content-based prioritization of functionalities and steering the sequence of their implementation and verification
• Steering of verification, test campaigns, and acceptance planning in close coordination with the client (m/f/d)
• Steering of partners, suppliers (m/f/d), and consortium contributions within your own program
• Decision-making on the sequence, resource allocation, and design of sub-projects as well as on changes in scope
• Steering and coordination of technical program content in close cooperation with the responsible Chief Engineer
• Taking on the escalation function in case of technical and scheduling conflicts as well as reporting to the responsible management levels

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
• Many years of experience in managing complex IT or network projects, ideally in the environment of public or military clients
• Experience in leading teams as well as steering partners and subcontractors (m/f/d)
• Experience with the Customer Product Management of the Bundeswehr is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills as well as good German skills are an advantage
• High communication and assertiveness skills in working with different stakeholders as well as a confident appearance
• Willingness to travel
