System Developer in the Product Area - Remote Controlled Weapon Stations (m/f/d)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU
As a System Developer (m/f/d) in the field of Remote Controlled Weapon Stations (RCWS), you will actively shape the next generation of highly integrated systems. You will develop and integrate technical solutions for use on military vehicle platforms - on land, on water, and in the air. In doing so, you will accompany our systems from the initial idea through development and integration to successful testing.
In a dedicated, interdisciplinary team, you will combine innovative technologies into powerful overall systems. Together with customers and partners (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for forward-looking solutions and make a direct contribution to the further development of our product portfolio and its reliable operational capability.
Your Tasks
- Development of innovative (sub-)concepts for weapon stations as well as creation of technical system specifications and decision templates
- Execution of requirement analyses, system integrations, and structured error detection
- Planning, execution, and documentation of system tests and technical reviews
- Coordination and creation of all essential system and project documentation
- Technical assistance for offers, customer presentations, and negotiations
- Regular reporting and presentation of development results in status meetings
- Successfully completed technical studies, e.g., in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in a technical department or in the project execution of mechatronic systems and products
- Sound knowledge in hardware integration and requirement management
- Confident handling of common development and documentation tools (e.g., Atlassian Toolchain, DOORS, Enterprise Architect) is desirable
- Experience in the development of complex technical systems in the defense or aerospace environment is an advantage
- Good English skills in speaking and writing, especially in a technical environment
