Software Architect (m/f/d)

In this exciting position, you will be responsible for the conception, control, and further development of sophisticated software architectures within our group. You will act as a central interface and significantly drive technical implementation forward:

• Analysis of customer requirements (specifications) as well as evaluation and refinement of functional and non-functional requirements related to the area of responsibility
• Creation of software architectures, derivation of software requirements, and subdivision of the overall architecture into sub-architectures
• Derivation of functional and non-functional architecture requirements as well as maintenance of software architectures
• Understanding and collaboration in the underlying segments as well as realization of software components
• Monitoring and ensuring the architecture implementation for the responsible part, including the embedding of software components available on the market
• Creation of process documentation (e.g., software architecture design)
• Execution of topic-specific analyses (e.g., vulnerability and performance analyses) as well as initiation and technical evaluation of make-or-buy decisions regarding software components
• Contact person and interface to project and product management as well as technical management of software architects

You convince through sound specialist knowledge, several years of professional experience, and a confident appearance in a professional environment:

• Completed Master's degree in Computer Science
• Many years of professional experience in the creation of software architectures as well as many years of experience in working on large software projects
• Several years of experience in the technical management of software teams as well as direct and technical leadership of highly qualified employees
• Very good programming skills in an object-oriented programming language as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Confident appearance and communication behavior at all corporate levels paired with high persuasiveness
• Ability for conflict management and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Willingness to travel worldwide
