Proposal Manager - Mission Systems for Combat Vehicles (m/f/d)

Are you looking for a demanding interface function in which you manage digital future projects from the initial inquiry to the finished proposal? As a Proposal Manager (m/f/d) in the field of Mission Systems for Combat Vehicles, you will take on the strategic and technical leadership of our proposal processes. If you combine analytical strength with leadership competence and want to successfully bring complex, explanatory projects to completion in an international environment, you will shape the solutions of tomorrow together with us.

Your Tasks:

• Management, coordination, and quality assurance of the entire internal proposal process as well as technical leadership of the Proposal Management team
• Review and evaluation of tender documents as well as derivation of customer-specific requirements and the appropriate proposal strategy
• On-time and within budget creation of complex proposals for the national and international market, including the execution of proposal reviews and Lessons Learned
• Creation of market, product, and competitor analyses to strategically support the sales process
• Continuous development of the sales and Proposal Management organization through the use of standardized metrics and IT tools

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Communication Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Proposal/Bid Management or sales of complex capital goods (ideally in a B2B/B2G environment or the defense industry) as well as sound knowledge in project and process management
• Proficient use of MS Office as well as affinity for using internal IT tools and databases
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Structured, independent way of working paired with analytical strength, assertiveness, team player qualities with initial leadership experience, as well as high customer orientation and resilience
