Project Quality Manager Soldier Solutions (m/f/d)

Take responsibility for the definition, establishment, and control of comprehensive quality measures in our offers and projects in the field of Soldier Solutions. In this central function, you will monitor process compliance, independently assess the project and product status, and manage testing, acceptance, and quality planning. As the primary contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will moderate quality-relevant measures and, optionally, provide functional leadership to Project Quality Managers.

Your tasks

• Specification, establishment, and control of quality measures in offers and projects for integrated maritime systems for floating platforms as well as for the protection of critical maritime infrastructure
• Independent assessment and reporting of the project and product status
• Creation and maintenance of quality management and testing process plans, as well as the planning, execution, and monitoring of Quality Gates and Engineering Reviews
• Coordination and release of project documents, participation in development and test plans, as well as the preparation of product tests and acceptances with the customer
• Definition of quality criteria for suppliers, execution of supplier audits, as well as the testing, release, and final decision regarding first article inspections and series releases
• Examination of test reports and outgoing goods inspections, issuance of product certificates, and independent issuance of complaints and rejections in case of non-compliance
• Planning and estimation of quality management services for future offers, responsibility for assigned project cost centers

• Completed technical Bachelor's degree or a comparable qualification
• Many years of relevant professional experience in project-related quality management as well as in the application of QM and development standards
• Practical experience in the methods of system, hardware, and software development, in verification and test methods, as well as sound knowledge of review and audit techniques
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to travel worldwide
