Project Manager Maritime Systems (m/f/d)

As a Project Manager (m/f/d), you will have the opportunity to shape exciting projects in an international environment. The key focus areas of the projects you will manage include, for example, naval as well as nautical and ship operation training simulators, naval onboard systems, and the networking of mission systems and command systems.

Your tasks:

• Responsible implementation of high-performance and quality-compliant planning and execution of projects within the cost and schedule framework
• Sustainable maintenance of customer and supplier contacts
• Ensuring contract, risk, and claim management externally and internally (in cooperation with the respective specialist departments)
• Technical leadership of interdisciplinary project teams
• Conducting negotiations with customers, partners, and suppliers in coordination with the involved specialist departments
• Controlling suppliers during project execution
• Supporting sales in acquisition endeavors

• Completed technical degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable
• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical environment or system development
• Knowledge in the design and realization of software-intensive systems from requirements analysis to acceptance is desirable
• Project management certification Level C according to GPM standard or willingness to obtain it
• Business fluent English skills in spoken and written form
• Positive and open demeanor when dealing with customers as well as the willingness to work in an international environment
• Willingness to travel worldwide
