Developer Optical/Optronic Test Systems (m/f/d)

Are you enthusiastic about precise optical technologies and want to develop innovative test systems for demanding high-tech products? In this position, you will take on a central role in the conception, development, and implementation of modern optical and optronic testing systems - from the initial idea to commissioning at the customer site.

Your Tasks

• Analysis of optical, electro-optical, and electronic assemblies as well as development of suitable testing concepts and specifications
• Development, programming, and further development of automated testing devices, test systems, and test sequences
• Support of the design department in the design and construction of optical testing setups
• Commissioning, testing, acceptance, and documentation of testing devices and adaptation equipment
• Technical responsibility for optical development tasks as well as coordination of subcontractors
• Participation in new product developments, optimization of existing solutions, as well as technical support for offers and customer training

• Completed technical degree, e.g., in Optics, Optoelectronics, Laser Technology, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the development of optical or optronic test systems, ideally with laser or thermal imaging technology
• Confident handling of Windows and MS-Office applications
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing, especially technical English
• Independent, innovative, and goal-oriented way of working with strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel worldwide
