Service Technician – Industrial Automation

We are looking for a Service Technician with knowledge in industrial automation and electronics, responsible for installing, programming, diagnosing, repairing, and providing maintenance to frequency inverters (preferably Yaskawa) and other industrial equipment. You will be the technical link with our customers, so we are looking for a person with an excellent service attitude, communication skills, and the ability to offer timely solutions, strengthening customer trust and satisfaction. During the first three months, you will undergo an adaptation process and continuous training in the products and technologies represented by the company.

Main responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission frequency inverters and industrial automation equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electronic equipment.
• Interpret electrical and control diagrams.
• Perform assembly and wiring of electrical and control panels.
• Provide technical support in the field and at customer facilities.
• Handle technical inquiries professionally and offer timely solutions.
• Document each service performed through technical reports.
• Maintain constant communication with customers to follow up on assigned cases.
• Promote technical services and support the commercialization of the company's solution portfolio.
• Comply with the quality and service standards established by the organization.

Requirements

• Technician, Technologist, or studies in Electricity, Electronics, Electromechanics, Industrial Automation, or related fields.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in technical service of electronic equipment or industrial automation.
• Knowledge in interpreting electrical and control diagrams.
• Experience in the assembly and wiring of electrical panels.
• Knowledge in industrial automation.
• Technical English for reading and interpreting manuals and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Own vehicle or motorcycle and a valid driver's license.
• Availability to visit customers within the national territory.

It will be an added value if you have:

• Experience working with Yaskawa, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Danfoss frequency inverters, or similar brands.
• Experience in programming and commissioning frequency inverters.
• Knowledge of level sensors and industrial instrumentation.
• Experience providing technical support in the field.
