Technology Operations Manager

An important company in the technology sector is looking for a Technology Operations Manager, responsible for leading the operation, continuity, stability, and availability of the organization's critical technological platforms and services. The position will be responsible for managing monitoring, platforms, and continuous services teams, ensuring an efficient, proactive operation oriented toward prevention and rapid incident response.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the operation of critical technological platforms and services under a 24/7 operation scheme.
• Strengthen and optimize monitoring, detection, management, and response processes for incidents and problems.
• Identify gaps in the operation and develop proposals to reduce detection and response times to failures.
• Guarantee the stability, availability, and continuity of technological services.
• Design and implement proactive monitoring and alert management processes.
• Lead the planning and execution of changes, maintenance, backups, and continuity tests.
• Supervise vulnerability management and compliance with security policies and controls.
• Define and monitor indicators for operation, capacity, availability, and platform performance.
• Manage team capacity and resources against operational demand.
• Lead automation initiatives and optimization of technological processes.
• Participate in strategic and technological transformation projects.
• Manage providers and contracts related to technological platforms and services.
• Prepare and administer the management's operational plan and budget.
• Develop, lead, and strengthen the teams under their responsibility, promoting autonomy, problem-solving, and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Systems Engineering, Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership positions in operations, production, infrastructure, or technology.
• Experience leading technology teams in high-availability environments and 24/7 operation.
• Experience in platform monitoring, incident management, problems, and operational continuity.
• Knowledge of Linux, AIX, and Windows Server.
• Knowledge of technological systems architecture and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of communication networks.
• Knowledge of backup and continuity solutions.
• Knowledge of information security and compliance with standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, and ITSM.
• Knowledge of automation solutions.
• Intermediate level Excel.
• Intermediate English.
