*Location:* Abbotsford, BC *Hours:* 12 hours per week (4 hours, 3 days a week during weekdays)
*About the Position:* We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated *Building Caretaker* to join our team in Abbotsford. This part-time role requires 12 hours of work per week, broken down into 4 hours per day, 3 days a week during weekdays. The caretaker will be responsible for overseeing a variety of caretaking and janitorial duties, ensuring the building is well-maintained, clean, and running smoothly.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Perform general *caretaking and janitorial duties* (cleaning common areas, floors, washrooms, etc.)
- Oversee *move-ins and move-outs*, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with *contractors* for maintenance and repairs.
- Handle *communication with the company office*, reporting issues or updates on building operations.
- Ensure building safety and cleanliness, addressing tenant or visitor concerns as needed.
*Requirements:*
- Proven experience in *caretaking, janitorial work, or facility management *is _an asset_.
- Strong *communication skills*, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and office staff.
- *Detail-oriented* and proactive in addressing maintenance or cleanliness issues.
- *Organized and reliable*, able to manage time and tasks efficiently within the set hours.
- Must be able to work independently and take initiative when needed.
