Our client, the company TFCM, a subsidiary of the Groupe FREGATE (10 entities, 870 people), is an industrial company of 220 people specializing in the manufacture of metal structure sub-assemblies and complex thin sheet metal parts for aeronautics, railways, and urban buses. A key player in the aeronautical, railway, and urban bus sectors, the expertise of its teams of Engineers and Technicians, its rigor, and its reactivity have allowed it to establish itself as a first-tier supplier alongside major customers such as Safran, Alstom, Heuliez, Iveco…

Due to its subcontracting activity and as an integrator, the TFCM company consumes large quantities of steel, sheets, profiles, and components. The purchasing budget is therefore relatively significant (12 million euros). In this context, the Purchasing function plays a strategic role and has a strong impact on cost optimization and the overall performance of the company. In order to pursue its development, TFCM is strengthening its management and is looking for a:

PURCHASING MANAGER M/F

Reporting to the Director of Operations, your mission is to manage all of TFCM's Purchasing while aiming to achieve cost, quality, and deadline objectives. In this framework, you will specifically ensure the following missions:

• Ensure an operational role in managing a defined portfolio of suppliers
• Organize and manage your team of 4 buyer-supply officers (training, support, annual evaluation, development of versatility), in order to achieve the set objectives
• Prospect, evaluate, and select new suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, logistics, costs) and support them in their progress
• Negotiate deadlines, prices, and contracts
• Manage purchasing for the 3 TFCM establishments
• Manage outsourced production and resolve any disputes
• Adapt orders according to customer needs and production imperatives
• Implement continuous improvement actions by involving your teams on a daily basis in a true policy of progress and productivity

With a Bac +4/5 education, you have a successful experience in the field of technical Purchasing, acquired in an industrial PME/PMI. Ideally, you have already managed a portfolio including raw material purchases (sheets, steel, …) and mechanical components as well as subcontracting purchases (machining, surface treatment, …) and you have already managed a team.

This experience will have allowed you to acquire the tools and methodologies enabling you to optimize and streamline a purchasing portfolio and thus improve the overall performance level of the company.

A man or woman of the field, very comfortable in negotiations, you are reactive, pragmatic, and have good communication skills. You master professional English and have good technical knowledge in the field of metallurgy.

• Permanent contract (CDI)

• Remuneration: 45 K€ to 60 K€ annually depending on profile and experience
• Location: Position based in Damvix, (located in the heart of the marais poitevin, 25 minutes from Fontenay le Comte, 30 minutes from Niort, and 45 minutes from La Rochelle)
