Senior Controller
With over 3,500 employees at 10 logistics locations and a fleet of 380 trucks, the logistics of REWE Group Austria forms the backbone of the supply for BILLA, PENNY, BIPA, and ADEG.
In this complex and dynamic environment, you will take on a central role as a Senior Controller. You will gain deep insight into our operational logistics, act as a business partner for executives, and actively support management in financial and strategic steering.
You will become part of our three-person team within the central controlling organization of REWE Group Austria, which, in addition to logistics, also supports the retail companies, production, and other central areas.

We are looking for the curious, the reliable, the motivated, the versatile... 1 Senior Controller wanted for our location in 2351 Wiener Neudorf, IZ NÖ-Süd Straße 6 Obj. 16 Zentrale, for 38.5 hours per week.
Tasks
- Monthly and annual closing, budget and forecasts: You will take over independently defined process steps, create meaningful reports, and derive recommendations for action from variance analyses.
- Business Partnering: You will act as a business partner both for executives and operational units within logistics as well as for our retail companies on logistical topics. You will identify opportunities and risks early on and proactively initiate and follow up on initiatives and optimization measures.
- Business Cases: You are responsible for the economic evaluation of investments and develop robust business cases as a basis for decision-making. In doing so, you will combine all necessary inputs, document basic data, and supplement it with relevant business aspects, e.g., working capital effects - always in close coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Controlling tools and processes: You will support their implementation and further development and contribute to cross-departmental projects as a competent interface between controlling, logistics, and other specialist departments.
Qualifications
- You have a business education as well as several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in logistics or a similarly large and dynamic corporate environment.
- You bring excellent Excel skills as well as a general IT affinity. Experience with SAP FI/CO, Power BI, or ThinkCell is an advantage.
- Your good English skills enable you to participate in cross-border projects.
- You work independently and in a structured manner, combining a very good understanding of numbers with strong analytical skills.
- Stakeholders appreciate your empathy as well as your proactive and reliable cooperation. You communicate clearly, act at eye level, and convince with your assertiveness.

- A market-conforming, attractive, and performance-related annual gross salary starting from 65,000 Euro (on a full-time basis) with the willingness to overpay depending on appropriate experience and qualification.
