Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Industry: Construction / Building Materials
We are looking for a driven and outgoing Technical Sales Engineer to join a growing team within the construction and building materials industry. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys a mix of technical sales, client engagement and business development , with opportunities to work closely with contractors, architects, consultants and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales activities to achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives .
- Develop new business opportunities and build a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
- Build and maintain long-term business relationships with main contractors, architects, consultants and developers.
- Prepare and propose product specifications based on project and client requirements.
- Conduct product presentations and provide technical information to clients and key stakeholders.
- Understand customers' project requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
- Follow up on project opportunities from initial engagement through to sales conversion.
- Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective customers to strengthen business relationships.
- Keep updated on market developments, upcoming projects and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Building, Construction, Architecture or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- Prior experience in technical sales, building materials or the construction industry is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant technical knowledge who are keen to develop a career in sales may also be considered.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable engaging with contractors, consultants, architects and other industry stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working in a sales environment.
