Marketing Executive (FMCG)| Regional Markets
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute trade marketing initiatives and channel strategies to strengthen brand presence and drive sales across key accounts and distribution channels.
- Execute trade and category strategies in alignment with overall brand positioning, category development plans and business objectives.
- Work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure effective execution of trade marketing activities.
- Plan, coordinate and execute in-store promotions, trade campaigns and activation programmes across key accounts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of trade and in-store promotions against sales and business objectives and recommend improvements where required.
- Monitor competitor activities, including promotional mechanics, pricing and in-store execution, and prepare regular competitive activity reports.
- Coordinate promotional timelines, pack and price changes, and new product launches with Marketing and Sales teams.
- Support new product launches, including distribution tracking, planogram execution, in-store sampling and secondary displays.
- Coordinate the development, deployment and implementation of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) across relevant channels.
- Track execution across accounts and channels to ensure trade marketing initiatives are implemented according to plan.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience within the FMCG industry, preferably across trade marketing, category management, channel development or FMCG sales.
- Good understanding of trade promotions, key accounts, channel strategies and in-store execution.
- Experience supporting product launches, promotional campaigns, POSM and retail activations will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate promotional and market performance.
- Good presentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience in category management, space management and/or planogram execution will be advantageous.
- Graphic design capabilities will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
