A well-established regional bank with a strong presence across Asia, offering a comprehensive range of corporate banking, treasury and financial markets solutions. We are seeking a Rates Trader to join the bank's Global Markets team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing interest rate trading activities, identifying market opportunities and optimising trading strategies while maintaining prudent risk management practices. Key Responsibilities Execute and manage interest rate trading activities across fixed income securities, interest rate swaps and other rates-related instruments.

Manage trading positions, market risk exposures and P&L within approved trading limits and risk parameters.

Analyse macroeconomic developments, central bank policies, yield curves and market trends to identify trading opportunities.

Develop and implement trading and hedging strategies to optimise portfolio performance and manage interest rate risk.

Collaborate with Treasury, Sales, Risk Management and other stakeholders to support trading activities, pricing and market-making capabilities.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or a related discipline.

Relevant experience in rates trading, fixed income trading or interest rate derivatives within a bank or financial institution.

Strong knowledge of interest rate products, yield curve dynamics, monetary policies and fixed income markets.

Proven analytical and quantitative skills, with a sound understanding of trading risk, position management and P&L.

Strong market awareness, decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
