This role is 100% on-site at our production plant offices in El Pla de Santa Maria (Tarragona)
We are looking for a Materials Planner. This is a role that has high interaction with Production, Purchasing, Demand Planning, NPD, and other departments of the organization, being responsible for ensuring an efficient supply plan aligned with business needs.
Main responsibilities:
Prepare and manage the Master Production Schedule to ensure the supply of demand in a timely and proper manner.
Analyze demand needs and adapt them to the plant's production capacity.
Review and optimize planning according to RCCP processes.
Schedule and sequence manufacturing orders to maximize operational efficiency.
Manage planning changes derived from production incidents or demand variations.
Lead daily meetings with the factory to ensure correct execution of the plan.
Implement and optimize inventory strategies, including safety stocks, MRP parameters, and ABC classification.
Analyze supply incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
Maintain and update master data related to planning.
Coordinate the introduction of new products and projects derived from regulatory changes, ensuring milestone compliance and alignment between departments.
Act as the main interlocutor with logistics hubs and other functional areas to ensure continuity of supply.
Essential requirements:
Experience as a Materials Planner or similar.
Knowledge of MRP systems, SAP (MM), or equivalent planning tools.
High level of English (C1+).
High level of Spanish (C1+).
Advanced level of Microsoft Excel.
The following will be valued:
University degree in Engineering, ADE, or similar.
Complementary training in Supply Chain, Operations, or Planning is a plus.
