Full job description Revival Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Revival Pharmacy in Regina, located at 1168 Albert Street, SK S4R 2R1. Patient-Focused Care Responsibilities:Support pharmacists in providing high-quality patient careGreet customers and answer phone calls in a professional mannerAssist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technicianAccurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocolsReceive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory auditsIndependent complex orders, address insurance claims and billing issues, flag concerns to pharmacists, and ensure accurate paperwork submission.Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste according to regulationsPerform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfersAssist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to thrive in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience in advanced skills (e.g., Compounding, compliance packaging, OAT).Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software; KROLL Software is an asset. Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containersWillingness to work flexible hours, including early morning.Schedule:5-16 hours per week. (TBD) Seasonal Hiring The store is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
