Legal Counsel
Rev & Regs are recruiting for a new 'Legal Counsel' role on behalf of a global Asset Management company in London.
As a Legal Counsel, you will:
Support the legal implementation of product development and regulatory changes across global fund ranges, including reviewing fund documentation and drafting shareholder notices. Draft and negotiate institutional client, investment management, distribution and other commercial agreements. Review and negotiate third-party fund service provider agreements. Support sustainability-related regulatory requirements, including SFDR and UK sustainability disclosure requirements. Provide legal advice to internal business teams and support cross-functional projects. Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the business. Use approved AI tools to support legal drafting, research and review, and contribute to the team's adoption of AI. Work with external counsel across different jurisdictions as required.
Required experience:
2+ years' post-qualification experience, gained in private practice or an investment management business. Good knowledge of the UK FCA regulatory framework; experience with UCITS, AIFMD and/or MiFID II is desirable. Experience with investment management, distribution, platform and/or commercial agreements. Experience supporting fund product changes and related documentation. Knowledge of sustainability-related financial services regulation, such as SFDR and/or UK SDR. Familiarity with AI-assisted legal tools such as Claude or equivalent is an advantage.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in City of London office) Salary: £120,000 to £135,000 pa + bonus + benefits package (Depends on experience).
