Jr. .NET / SQL / APIs Programming Engineer

A company specialized in technology solutions is looking for a Jr. Programming Engineer to join a project with one of our clients.

We are looking for a profile with knowledge in backend development, databases, and APIs, with an interest in continuing professional development and learning new technologies.

Main activities

• Creation of customized reports according to client needs.
• Development and execution of queries in SQL databases.
• Maintenance and support of databases.
• Backend development, preferably with .NET Core and/or Java.
• Development, maintenance, and integration of APIs.
• Support in activities related to frontend development.
• Analysis and solution of technical incidents.
• Participation in activities for support and improvement of applications.
• Support in Windows and Linux server administration.

Requirements

• Engineering in Systems, Informatics, Information Technologies, Software Development, or a related field.
• Degree and professional license (cédula profesional) are indispensable.
• Knowledge in SQL.
• Knowledge in APIs development.
• Knowledge in Java and/or .NET Core.
• Basic knowledge of frontend development.
• Intermediate English.
• Proficiency in tools such as:
• Visual Studio Code.
• Postman.
• Git.
• DBeaver.
• Microsoft Office.

Desirable knowledge

It is not indispensable to master all of the following points; we are looking for candidates with the willingness to learn and develop in these technologies:

• Windows and Linux server administration.
• Server infrastructure.
• NAS and SAN.
• VMware.
• Veeam.
• Troubleshooting.
• Installation and maintenance of databases.
• Database architecture and clusters.
• Docker.
• Cloud services.
• Data analysis.

Certifications

Desirable to have knowledge or certification in .NET Core. In case you do not have it, there is the possibility to develop it during your stay at the company.

Work zone and schedule

Zone: Col. del Valle, CDMX client facilities. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00 hrs. Modality: On-site.
