Financial Accountant- Fixed Assets

About the company

Resourcery is delighted to be supporting a leading Not for Profit organisation in Liverpool with the appointment of an experienced Financial Accountant (Fixed Assets). This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or finalist accountant to take ownership of key fixed asset accounting activities within a large, complex organisation, contributing directly to high quality financial reporting, robust financial controls and effective capital investment management.

Your tasks

Reporting to the Group Financial Accountant, you will:

• Lead on the management and accounting of property and fixed asset registers,
• Oversee capital accounting activities and play a key role in preparing Group Financial Statements and statutory accounts.
• You will also support reporting for subsidiaries and joint ventures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• As Financial Accountant you will bring significant fixed asset accounting experience, strong technical accounting knowledge and a proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting in a complex organisation.
• You will be analytical, proactive and confident working with stakeholders across the business, with the ability to strengthen processes, improve controls and provide clear financial insight.
• Experience in property or housing accounting, component accounting, joint ventures or group structures would be advantageous.
