HSE Coordinator

Summary

My client is a hugely successful engineering organisation . As part of their continued investment in operational excellence, they are seeking an enthusiastic HSE Coordinator to strengthen their Health, Safety, and Environmental team.

The Role

You will support the delivery of a safe, compliant, and well-managed working environment across numerous projects in a variety of sectors.

Working closely with managers across the business, you will help support legal compliance, promote best practice, support audits and investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, safe systems of work, and HSE documentation.
• Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Monitor statutory inspections, training records, contractor controls, and compliance documentation.

About You

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Health & Safety role.
• Experience within building services is preferred but not essential
• A practical, organised, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• The confidence to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
• Good IT and administrative skills.

Desirable

• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Experience of ISO management systems.
