Our client is a company recognized for its expertise in aircraft engineering, modifications, and certification.

As part of its business development, it is looking for its future DOA (Design Organisation Approval) Project Manager to lead aeronautical projects with a high technical dimension, coordinate different disciplines, and follow your files from their launch to their completion.

Your role

You will take charge of one or more projects related to the integration of solutions and equipment on aircraft or other platforms.

You will ensure the global management of projects, from their launch to their closure. You will coordinate technical teams, external partners, and program interlocutors to meet QCD objectives.

Your missions

  • Structure each project by preparing the OBS, WBS, and PBS.
  • Identify the input data necessary for the launch and smooth running of the projects.
  • Build, with the technical managers, the analysis of risks and opportunities.
  • Update this analysis throughout the project and define the associated actions.
  • Plan and prepare the various reviews corresponding to the stages of the development cycle, particularly in a V-cycle operation.
  • Monitor schedules, milestones, workloads, and financial elements associated with the projects.
  • Participate in the monitoring of project performance indicators, notably OTD, OQD, and CPI.
  • Ensure the proper flow of information between technical teams, support functions, Program managers, and other entities within the company.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers involved in the projects.
  • Monitor their commitments regarding deadlines, quality, and deliverables.
  • Regularly present the progress of projects to the management in charge of design activities.
  • Identify deviations from objectives and implement the necessary actions with the concerned teams.
  • Formalize lessons learned at the end of the main project stages in order to retain technical, organizational, and methodological insights.
  • Contribute to compliance with quality processes and requirements applicable to aeronautical projects.

Permanent position (CDI) with executive status based in the Toulouse region.

Proposed salary between 50 and 65K annually

Your profile

You have a Bac +5 degree in a technical sector, or Bac +2/3 with significant aeronautical experience.

You have at least 5 years of experience in development project management, ideally in aeronautics. Experience in a design office is appreciated.

You master project management, cost and deadline monitoring, risk analysis, and the coordination of teams and external partners.

You are comfortable with MS Project, the Pack Office, and professional and technical English.

Autonomous, organized, and rigorous, you know how to manage several projects in parallel and work with various interlocutors.
