We are looking for a client, an international industrial group, for an Accounting Manager for the management of international entities, in CDI.

Within the Group Finance Department, you will take charge of the accounting for foreign subsidiaries and permanent establishments of the group, particularly in the following areas:

Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Romania, Turkey, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico...

This accounting is mostly entrusted to external specialized firms.

Your missions

As an International Accounting Manager, you will ensure:

  • The overall management of accounting operations
  • The reliability and control of monthly and annual closings
  • Coordination with local accounting firms as well as with subsidiaries in the USA and Canada

More concretely, you will be required to:

  • Ensure the link with accounting firms and handle their requests
  • Validate tax returns (VAT, Intrastat, corporate tax)
  • Follow up on tax issues in connection with the firms
  • Verify the correct entry of invoices by the France accounts payable department
  • Ensure consistency between the accounting held in the ERP and that of the firm
  • Record monthly VAT entries in the ERP
  • Execute certain payments: supplier invoices, salaries, taxes, and social security contributions
  • Provide accounting firms with all necessary documents and information

You have a proven experience of at least 5 years as an accounting and tax manager or in an accounting firm.

Your experience allows you to position yourself as a financial expert and to be proactive regarding the actions to be taken.

Beyond your technical skills, you are recognized for your interpersonal qualities, your ability to work with operational staff, and your commitment to the success of projects.

Fluent English is indispensable for this position
