Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Partner with the General Manager in developing and executing the Company’s financial strategy.
- Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Evaluate business opportunities, investments, pricing strategies, and capital expenditure proposals.
- Support long-term business planning and sustainable growth initiatives.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Monitor business performance through meaningful financial analysis and KPI reporting.
- Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
- Support resource allocation and workforce investment decisions.
Financial Reporting & Governance
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards.
- Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Oversee cash flow planning and liquidity management.
- Optimize working capital and strengthen financial discipline across the organization.
- Maintain effective banking relationships.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Develop and strengthen financial controls and governance practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead external and internal audit activities.
Tax & Compliance
- Oversee corporate tax compliance and statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations.
Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
- Build a collaborative, high-performing finance function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
Finance Transformation
- Drive finance process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Improve reporting capabilities, systems, and business intelligence.
- Champion continuous improvement across finance operations.
