Job Description
(Job Summary)
You will be responsible for planning and promoting global technical talent development strategies, and will be in charge of formulating and executing measures related to engineers' skill development, skill management, career formation support, and the cultivation of technical leaders.
Furthermore, while collaborating with business divisions, technical divisions, HR divisions, and management, you will lead problem-solving regarding technical talent and the strengthening of the talent foundation with a view toward the future.
(Main Responsibilities)
- Planning and Promotion of Technical Talent Development Strategy
- Planning and promotion of company-wide technical talent development policies
- Formulation and execution of talent development measures based on technical and business strategies
- Planning and Operation of Educational Programs
- Planning and operation of specialized technical education programs and technical seminars
- Continuous improvement of the educational framework reflecting technical trends
- Promotion of the utilization of learning infrastructure, including e-Learning
- Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Coordination of development needs with technical and business divisions
- Promotion of talent development measures in collaboration with the HR division
- Collaboration with universities, research institutions, and industry organizations
- Promotion of collaboration with external educational institutions and vendors
Qualifications
(Required Qualifications)
- A strong passion for supporting the growth and success of engineers and contributing to the improvement of technical capabilities across the entire organization
- Practical experience in product development, technical development, or business promotion in semiconductor-related fields
- Experience working in a global environment and experience collaborating with stakeholders of diverse cultures and values
- Experience in planning or operating talent development, educational programs, or organizational capability development
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and creating results while involving stakeholders
- Business-level English communication skills to facilitate smooth discussion, coordination, and collaboration with engineers and management worldwide
- Ability to understand technical trends and reflect them into talent development measures by looking ahead to the technologies and skills required in the future
- Ability to analyze issues based on data and facts, and to plan and promote improvement measures
(Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge and practical experience in Organization Development and Talent Development
- Knowledge and experience regarding HR systems, career frameworks for engineers, professional certification systems, and technical leader development programs
- Experience in planning and operating technical education programs and technical information sharing in compliance with export control regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledge and experience regarding Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning platforms, and knowledge management systems
- Knowledge and experience regarding AI-powered education/learning support tools, skill visualization, Learning Analytics, etc.
- Experience in planning and promoting knowledge-sharing measures such as technical community management, internal technical certification systems, and CoE (Center of Excellence)
- Experience participating in talent development measures or organizational transformation projects in a global company
- Experience in planning and operating talent development programs through collaboration with universities, research institutions, and industry organizations
