Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer (Senior Manager)

We continue to expand our product portfolio and production site deployment for our flagship product groups, MCU and SoC products.

In line with this, we are strengthening our Product Technology Department, which oversees mass production technology.

This department works in collaboration with Renesas design/development technology departments, our own factories, and partner manufacturing companies to achieve mass production of new products and to improve quality, cost, and production efficiency for existing mass-produced products to surpass competitors, comprehensively handling the maintenance of stable production.

We are looking for next-generation talent who possesses a global perspective and can play an active role with us in the mass production management and improvement of Renesas products.

【Job Description】 You will be responsible for product technology related to MCU and SoC products, providing quality, price, and delivery that surpass competitors, while building a strong financial structure.

Furthermore, to expand profits in the medium to long term, you will formulate and implement plans regarding the mass production of new products, securing production capacity, cost reduction, and quality improvement.

From a product perspective, you will connect the design department, manufacturing department, and production factories to promote improvements in product quality, cost, and productivity.

1. Addressing technical issues in production plan execution

　　　・Bottleneck countermeasures, porting, outsourcing utilization

1. Mass production of new products

　　　・Transition from development to mass production, stable mass production

1. Securing and maximizing profit

　　　・Yield improvement, productivity improvement activities, and other cost reduction activities

1. Ensuring and improving quality

　　　・Optimization of quality standards, pursuit of zero defects

1. Mass production trouble response

　　　・Equipment trouble (accidents), customer claims, material vendor trouble

1. Promotion of various projects

　　・Restructuring of domestic back-end sites, transfer of legacy products to OSAT

【MUST】 ・Experience in management positions. ・Experience in project-based work. ・Basic experience using Office tools (Windows, Excel, Power Point, etc.) ・At least 3 years of experience in inter-departmental coordination tasks, etc. ・English proficiency: Beginner level or higher (ability to communicate via email for business purposes without issues).

【WANT】 ・Experience as a project leader. ・Experience in semiconductor-related work. ・Experience in programming technologies such as Excel VBA. ・Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI.
