Staff IT Analyst - Supply Chain Demand Planning System Development, Operation, and Maintenance

■ Main Background

Our company has repeatedly engaged in M&A, and we are currently working on a large-scale internal project to integrate various systems, each having similar functions used by companies prior to M&A, into a single common system. It is required that future M&As can also be deployed smoothly.

■ Recruitment Background

The demand planning management system also needs to be integrated into a single system. Furthermore, this new forecast management system is a Web system that we are developing in-house. We are in a situation where we need personnel who can support a series of tasks including system requirements definition, development, testing, user testing, etc., as well as system maintenance and operation tasks.

Job Description ・Perform project management (requirements definition, development, testing, user testing, etc.) for the demand planning system, which is your domain, within the overall system integration project.

・Since the forecast management method for Japanese distributors will change significantly, you will act as a business contact for Renesas sales company members and coordinate various requests and developments.

・Requirements Definition:

• Coordinate with business members managing demand within the Renesas Group (primarily interacting with US members, so business English conversation skills are required) to summarize system requirements.

・Development, Testing, etc.:

• Communicate system requirements definition content to development vendors, and perform system reviews and user acceptance testing after development is completed. This includes technical content with development vendors (SQL, Java, Wijimo, etc.).

・System Maintenance and Operation Tasks:

• Responding to improvement requests from business users during system operation and conducting improvement activities toward stable system operation.

・Since the demand management system requires close system integration with the SCM planning system, system development and operation must be performed while collaborating with each other.

・Those with confidence in communication skills (e.g., can ask questions without hesitation. Can perform Hou-Ren-So to supervisors without resistance in daily work).

・Those with several years or more of experience in a series of operations such as demand management to production planning.

・Experience in DB operations using SQL and Web system development languages (Java, etc.).

・Business English: Intermediate or higher (= level capable of conducting discussions in English).
