Your tasks

Role & Responsibilities

• Welding metal parts using MIG, TIG, arc, or stick methods.
• Cutting, bending, and shaping steel, aluminium, and other metals.
• Fabricating structures, frames, tanks, gates, pipework, and equipment parts.
• Reading technical drawings and working to exact measurements.
• Preparing surfaces and checking welds for quality and strength.
• Repairing and maintaining machinery and metal structures.
• Using grinders, cutters, and other workshop tools safely.
• Following safety rules, wearing PPE, and keeping work areas tidy.

Requirements

*Skills & Qualifications Must-Have**

• Professional welding or fabrication experience.
• Trade certification or technical training (e.g., NVTI, City & Guilds, or technical school diploma), or equivalent proven experience.
• Skill in at least two welding methods (MIG, TIG, or arc).
• Ability to read drawings and work to specifications.
• Good awareness of welding safety, including fire, fumes, and electrical risks.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with supervisors and team members.
• Right to work in Ghana or Nigeria.
• Willingness to work across different workshops and project sites.

Preferred

• Pipe welding or structural welding experience.
• Welding certification.
• Experience on construction, oil and gas, mining, or manufacturing projects.
• Experience working at height or in confined spaces with safety training.
• Own basic tools and PPE.
