Your tasks

Role & Responsibilities

• Installing split units, central air systems, chillers, and cold room equipment.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
• Handling refrigerants safely and checking for leaks.
• Replacing parts such as compressors, motors, filters, and thermostats.
• Reading basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Keeping service records and reporting on completed work.
• Following site safety rules and leaving work areas clean.

Requirements

*Skills & Qualifications Must-Have**

• 3+ years of professional HVAC or refrigeration experience.
• Trade certification or technical training (e.g., NVTI, City & Guilds, or technical school diploma), or equivalent proven experience.
• Experience with both installation and repair work.
• Working knowledge of refrigerants, gauges, and basic electrical testing.
• Own basic tools and test equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English with supervisors and clients.
• Right to work in Ghana or Nigeria.
• Willingness to work across different sites and locations.

Preferred

• Experience with commercial chillers, VRF systems, or cold storage.
• Refrigerant handling certification or ozone safe practice training.
• Experience on construction or facilities maintenance projects.
• Basic electrical or controls knowledge.
• Valid driving licence.
• Basic customer service skills for client-facing work.
