General Responsibility:
Reporting to the Management of the establishment, the Front Office Manager manages, coordinates, and supervises all Reception teams (receptionists, bellhops, concierge, spa, and sailors).
Guarantor of the excellence of the customer journey, he/she ensures the quality and personalization of service, compliance with the establishment's standards, as well as the correct application of internal procedures. He/she also ensures the operational, administrative, and commercial management of his/her department, with a permanent objective of customer satisfaction and performance.
Main Missions:
Team Management and Animation
- Manage, organize, and coordinate the work of the Reception, Bellhop, Sailor, Concierge, and Spa teams.
- Ensure the proper presentation and professionalism of employees: attire, hygiene, behavior, and service attitude.
- Organize schedules and ensure an efficient distribution of missions and resources.
- Support, train, and develop the skills of employees.
- Participate in the recruitment of the teams within his/her department.
- Ensure the integration and follow-up of new employees.
Service Quality and Customer Experience
- Guarantee excellent service, in accordance with the establishment's standards and the expectations of high-end clientele.
- Ensure the quality and personalization of the welcome, stay, and departure of customers.
- Organize and supervise operations related to arrivals and departures.
- Anticipate the needs and expectations of customers to guarantee them a memorable experience.
- Handle complaints and complex situations that cannot be resolved by employees, and provide a quick and appropriate response.
- Participate in and conduct "site inspections" at the request of General Management.
Commercial and Performance
- Ensure the correct application of the pricing policy and sales arguments.
- Ensure compliance with commercial procedures and sales standards.
- Implement the human and material resources necessary to achieve the service's quality and performance objectives.
- Ensure the security of turnover and the proper management of cash registers.
- Monitor and analyze the performance indicators of the activity.
Procedures, Control, and Reporting
- Apply and ensure the application of all procedures in force within the establishment.
- Ensure strict compliance with accounting and budgetary procedures.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of procedures related to internal audits.
- Identify the need for procedure evolution and propose new procedures, subject to validation by Management.
- Control the preparation and reliability of daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and statistics.
- Ensure regular reporting to Management on the department's activity, performance, difficulties encountered, and actions implemented.
Security
- Ensure strict compliance with the security rules applicable within the hotel, particularly regarding fire prevention and safety.
- Ensure the knowledge and application of safety instructions by all teams in his/her department.
- Immediately report any situation presenting a risk to customers, employees, or facilities.
- You have significant experience in a management position within a high-end hotel establishment.
- Excellent managerial and organizational skills.
- You are comfortable with the public, smiling, and dynamic.
- You have a sense of hospitality and customer service.
- You have an interest in Polynesian culture.
- You are versatile, a team player, and have a good professional appearance.
- Mastery of professional English.
- Island experience in a high-end resort-type establishment is a plus.
- Ability to live in an island and isolated environment.
- Tikehau is located 1 hour by plane from Tahiti.
