Located in the heart of the village of Val d’Isère, Les Barmes de l’Ours*****, a member of Relais & Châteaux, offers you the opportunity to work and develop your skills in an establishment providing high-quality service to its clientele. You will evolve in an exceptional setting, at the foot of the slopes and just a few meters from numerous activities (aqua-sports center, cinema, seasonal workers' center...). The hotel consists of 76 rooms and suites, each floor featuring a warm and original decor. The establishment also consists of three restaurants led by Chef Antoine Gras: La Table de l’Ours, our gastronomic restaurant, 1 Michelin star, La Rôtisserie, redesigned with its traditional dishes, and our Coin Savoyard. Our bar offers original or personalized creations that meet our clients' desires in a warm environment by the fireside. In its continuity, the Kid’s club area and our bowling alley give our clientele the opportunity to spend pleasant moments throughout the day. A highlight, the 1,000 m² SPA area includes, in particular, an indoor pool enjoying beautiful natural light. AS ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER Under the direction of the Front Office Manager, your main missions will be: Assist the Front Office Manager in the daily organization of the service and ensure continuity with the team in their absence. Ensure the physical and telephone reception of the hotel's clientele. Prepare guest arrivals in close collaboration with the reservations department, ensuring the accuracy of files and anticipating needs. Transmit guest files to the reception team so that they have perfect knowledge of arrivals. Perform check-in and check-out for individual guests or groups, in compliance with current procedures. Ensure the reliability of guest information, the updating of the Cardex, and compliance with administrative procedures. Inform, anticipate requests, and advise guests throughout their stay thanks to an exact knowledge of their files, in order to guarantee their satisfaction and build loyalty. Participate in the improvement of reception procedures and ensure their proper application within the team. Manage billing operations, collection, and complete control of daily closings. Communicate with all hotel departments to guarantee perfect coordination and guest satisfaction. Respect internal procedures as well as the establishment's quality standards.

Coming from a hospitality background, you have successful experience in a similar position. Excellent presentation and very good interpersonal skills. Organizational skills, rigor, and the ability to support a team on a daily basis. Team spirit and the ability to manage priorities in a demanding environment. Fluency in English is indispensable and a second language is a plus. Knowledge of Protel software is a plus.
