Senior Audit Manager

/Partner Designate - Liverpool City Centre

This opportunity is with a well-established and highly regarded Firm of Accountants in Liverpool.

If you are currently working as a Senior Manager and looking for progression with a large Independent firm with a clear route to becoming a Partner, then we would really like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be at least 5 years Post Qualification and currently working within a Firm of Accountants. Please see details below:

Job Description

• Plan, supervise, and execute audit assignments for a variety of clients in the professional services sector.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards throughout the audit process.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members to support their development.
• Review audit documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact during engagements.
• Identify and communicate any risks or issues arising during audits, proposing practical solutions.
• Assist in preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to clients and senior management.
• Contribute to the development of the department by sharing knowledge and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Audit Manager/Partner Designate should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in auditing within the professional services industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
