Your Tasks - Development with Foresight

• You will take over the technical team leadership of our Simulation Models team, which develops C/C++ simulation models of avionics devices and aircraft systems for our high-end training devices with approx. 5 employees
• In doing so, you ensure that the simulation models managed by the team remain future-proof and are expanded / adapted for new product variants
• You will actively participate in the development of software models
• You will take care of the quality and timely processing of development tasks by the team
• You are the direct technical contact person for colleagues within the team
• As a mentor, you will take care of the professional and personal development of the team members
• The department management will support you with resource planning and effort estimations

Your Profile - Thinking about software holistically

• You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• You have at least 5 years of experience in software development in C++ and software development processes, preferably in the field of simulation software and/or in the aerospace engineering field
• Desirably, you have already been able to gain initial experience in leading teams
• You bring good knowledge in systems/software engineering and use common development tools (e.g., Jira, Git, Bamboo) efficiently in software development
• A high degree of quality awareness and motivation characterize you
• Proactively tackling problems and independently deriving the necessary measures appeals to you
• You communicate confidently in English and desirably in German
