We are seeking a Secretary / Administrative Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate is a professional, warm, and highly organized individual who is often the first point of contact for our clients. They should have strong computer skills, excellent communication, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office. During tax season, this role is full-time and central to keeping our office running smoothly.

Some of the responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Greeting clients and serving as the welcoming face of the office
  • Answering and directing phone calls and emails
  • Booking and managing client appointments
  • Receiving, scanning, and organizing client documents
  • Preparing engagement letters, mailings, and client correspondence
  • Following up with clients and government agencies
  • Maintaining organized and accurate client files
  • General administrative support to the accounting team

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken)
  • 1 to 2 years of administrative or reception experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Experience in an accounting or professional office (an asset, but we're happy to train the right person)

Please note: our office is busiest during tax season, when this role is full-time. Outside of tax season, we offer flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) that can be discussed to fit the right candidate.
