Data Governance & Quality Engineer (Senior)

We are looking for a Senior Data Governance & Quality Engineer to join a data team focused on the implementation and operation of data governance and quality platforms at enterprise scale, in cloud and multi-cloud environments.

The position is oriented towards professionals with solid experience in Data Governance and Data Quality implementations in corporate environments, focusing on the definition of rules, standards, and quality models that enable the use of data in analytics, reporting, and Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Data Governance platform on Informatica CDGC and AXON.

• Configure and manage data quality rules, policies, and stewardship workflows in CDQ/IDQ.

• Integrate the data catalog with multiple sources (databases, ERP, CRM, cloud, and Databricks) through scanners and catalog sources.

• Manage the governance of the Databricks Lakehouse, aligning lineage and Unity Catalog classification with CDGC.

• Collaborate with data owners and business stakeholders in the definition of data quality standards and rules.

• Guarantee traceability, end-to-end lineage, and regulatory compliance of data assets.

• Use CLAIRE to support rule definition and metadata classification.

Requirements:

• Between 7 and 12 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or similar roles.

• Verifiable experience in enterprise implementations of data governance and quality (hands-on, not just advisory).

• Mastery of Informatica IDMC: CDGC, CDQ/IDQ, and AXON (mandatory).

• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog (cataloging, lineage, and asset classification).

• Experience integrating governance tools with privacy solutions such as OneTrust.

• Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as DAMA-DMBOK and GDPR.

• Advanced English (B2/C1) mandatory, with the ability to interact with technical teams and international stakeholders.

• Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (ICP) certification mandatory.

Will be valued:

• Experience with complementary cloud tools such as Microsoft Purview/Fabric, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue Data Catalog, Lake Formation, or Redshift.

• Knowledge of Collibra and/or Monte Carlo.

• Experience in MDM SaaS / Reference 360.

• Experience with CLAIRE Agents for lineage and stewardship.

• CDMP (DAMA), Databricks, or Azure Data Engineer (DP-203) certifications.

About the position:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 (CDMX Time -GMT-6)

• Location: Latin America

• Modality: 100% remote.

• Compensation: Salary in USD.

• Contract type: Contractor.
