We are now seeking a medical technical engineer with the place of work in Arvika.

Your duties

Main duties will be preventive and corrective maintenance and technical support. The work will involve close collaboration with colleagues within Medical Technology, IT, and our suppliers. The work includes travel to our service points which today, in addition to Arvika, are Torsby, Karlstad, Säffle, and Kristinehamn, as well as health centers.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who is a university engineer or has technical competence and experience deemed equivalent by the employer. For the work, knowledge in electricity, electronics, and mechanics is primarily required. You also need to be proficient in the English language, as competence development usually takes place abroad and technical manuals are in English. We would prefer if you have education in or have worked with medical technology and have IT competence, as today's medical technical equipment is increasingly intertwined with other IT infrastructure. Driving license B is a requirement due to travel in the line of duty.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You have a sense of service, a sense of teamwork, and good collaborative abilities, but are also confident in working independently. We are looking for employees who have good communicative abilities in both speech and writing, which is required in the daily collaboration with users/clinical staff. The role requires flexibility because the tasks are of varying nature and the areas of responsibility may change as needed. It is important to be interested in further training, as healthcare uses medical technology that is constantly evolving.
