Our client, an IT company based in South Jakarta, is seeking Cloud Engineer Infrastructure Role Summary The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist designs, builds, automates, and maintains core production environments with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), this role ensures scalable, secure, and resilient GCP operations, while leveraging cross-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud) to support multi-cloud integrations, hybrid workflows, or future migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• GCP Infrastructure & IaC: Primary responsibility for architecting, provisioning, and maintaining GCP resources using modular Terraform.
• Automation & CI/CD: Build deployment pipelines using Google Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for automated infrastructure provisioning and testing.
• Network & Security Architecture: Configure VPCs, Shared VPCs, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud NAT, Firewall Rules, IAM roles, and Service Accounts following the principle of least privilege.
• Multi-Cloud Integration: Assist in connecting GCP workloads with existing AWS, Azure, or Huawei Cloud environments (e.g., cross-cloud networking, data transfers, or unified monitoring).
• Monitoring & Reliability: Set up Google Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), Logging, and alerting to maintain high availability and quick incident response.
• Cost Governance: Optimize GCP spending through right-sizing, Committed Use Discounts (CUDs), and automated resource scheduling.

Technical Requirements

1. Core GCP Stack (Must-Have):

• Compute & Containers: Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.
• Networking & Security: Shared VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, IAM, Secret Manager.
• Storage & Data: Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Spanner.

1. Infrastructure as Code: Advanced Terraform expertise, specifically with Google Cloud Provider modules, remote state management, and continuous integration workflows.
2. Multi-Cloud Exposure (Secondary): Hands-on experience or working knowledge in AWS (EC2, S3, EKS), Azure (VMs, AKS), or Huawei Cloud (ECS, CCE).
3. Containerization: Docker & Kubernetes administration for cloud-native workloads.

Professional & Soft Skills :

• Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to debug complex network routes, IAM permissions, and deployment pipeline failures.
• Clear Communication: Capability to bridge gaps between software developers, security personnel, and business managers.
• Systems Mindset: Focus on reliability, zero-downtime releases, and self-healing systems.

Preferred Qualifications : Ideal candidates should hold Professional-level certifications or equivalent industry recognition. Examples include the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect OR Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
